How to reset Kali Linux password 2023

OK, hello everyone. This time I will share Kali Linux password reset tutorial. I just ran into this happening :b I completed the installation when I wanted to log in, but forgot my password:

Now, let's get straight to the point.
  1. Click Alt + Ctrl + F2. Then press "e" on your keyboard.
  2. Change "ro" to "rw" and add "init=/bin/bash" after the script "initrd=/install/gtk/initrd.gz". (without quotes)
  3. Type the command "passwd root" (without quotes) and enter your new password.
  4. If you see "Password updated successfully," that means it was successful, then press Ctrl x or F10.
Log in as normal and enter your new password.
